Again 05:46
Again What’s been said won’t never last Personal needs against common acts Again Wet by teardrops the ashes of humanity Try to grow in a slow agony Again Oh no I missed the train again And hit the wall by plane again Your shadow is gone while I seek for the sun I can’t swallow this bone neither the mouth of a gun Again Now I'm scared about the voices in my head Screaming :  « we are the only ones », no hope from outside Again Oh no I missed the train again And hit the wall by plane again My eyes are burning, my soul is in flame When I try to love human Who’s to blame

Mikichi 06:57
Mikichi Come and share a beer with the Devil The angels are already drunk But don’t accept some kind of deal Because you will get fucked The door is never close And you can come in as you wish This house is never empty This house is full of noise Mikichi my friend You welcome me At anytime By your side My friend lives here To listen and feel he teaches Don’t be afraid if your ears bleed Because your soul is gonna be fed Come and share a beer with the Devil The angels are already drunk But don’t accept some deal Because you will get fucked Mikichi my friend You welcome me At anytime By your side

Unknown cause When the end of their lives silently calls Trembling, the leaves start to fall Through the wind like a whisper in the noise Growing into a hurricane by unknown cause The believers knee deep start to pray The easy tellers door peep and start to say The empty words of their judging soul Growing into terror by unknown cause The devil as fate is hidden in the details We are trodding unsafe on the trail of death And I laugh at the devil's face And I laugh at the devil's face When the weight of feathers is getting heard Torn appart from the wings of the steel bird Falling on the ground while losing its roots from the soil Killing its own tree by unknown cause The physiker watches deep and starts to analyse The warmongers watch blind and start to criticize What they don't know, sure to see with closed eyes Growing into corruption by unknown cause When evil melt easily with the good The wallet full of money takes place of stomach full of food Starving of needs the others don't have and judge as false Growing into human misery by unknown cause The philosophers think deep humbly try to understand The owners dig deep in moving sand Its golden grave but feed the vultures and eagles Growing into distraught corpse by unknown cause When the end of the world knocks on our door We run to open it soon we'll see it's a wall Deaf at consciousness we don't see passing the turtoise Faster than the hare by unknown cause The observers breathe deep not to leave a trace The hunters breathe deep not to miss a breath To prove himself his fake superiority Forgetting he is an animal by unknown cause

Organic Robots I am afraid to be humanized Don’t try to buy my soul, I have only one And I wish to keep it, so don’t take what I am You think with your big wallet you can buy anything But you can’t get me Because we are robots Organic robots I am afraid to be humanized We wish to see forward even if we are blind We lean on technology but our wlll is weak We want to recreate a reality which doesn’t fit us Thinking is in vain if it does it for us Because we are robots Organic robots Soon we’ll be afraid of rain Because we don’t want to rust And we will be alone Because there’s no one to trust Soon we’ll be afraid of fire Because we don’t want to melt down And we will wait longer Before comes a new dawn

Ebola 06:25
Ebola One more disease on earth And we know we are the cause We don't mind the consequences As long as it is in the third world One more disease on earth We get hidden in our house And we build up iron fences To keep out the sick ones There is no vaccine against our illness Even insane we want to keep it priceless We dare to call it cleverness Lights of mindare our blindness The virus is human And it won't longer last Because human kills human One more disease on earth Trying to speed up evolution We test our tries on population Call it demographic regulation One more disease on earth The end will soon come Trodding far from wisdom We wish to build our kingdom There is no vaccine against our illness Even insane we want to keep it priceless We dare to call it cleverness Lights of mindare our blindness The virus is human And it won't longer last Because human kills human One more disease on earth Keep on playing with the fire Yes we are going to get burn Asking Africa for some water One more disease on earth The patient is judge and guilty For that there is no remedy Nevertheless there is one maybe There is no vaccine against our illness Even insane we want to keep it priceless We dare to call it cleverness Lights of mindare our blindness The virus is human And it won't longer last Because human kills human

Trying To Be 05:52
Trying to be Slow down little one and take it easy The road is so long to become free Free from your needs never fed You’re feeling hungry and that makes you angry The energy is gone it’s been given out And never comes back so I scream and I shout The mouth full of blood with its iron taste Always not understood, the meaning can’t last You feel as a muted man annoying the silence Your concrete is sand that builds higher fence My head is full of noise my way is a dead end Convicted to lose, no more I can't stand I wanna rest for once, the fight lasts too long Talking makes me suffer, and the pain is getting stronger You are not so weak but don’t know where to seek They are not so bad you are just too sad You are not so lonely By yourself you’re trying to be Don’t you wish it could change once The energy is gone, it’s been given out And never comes back so I scream and I shout The mouth full of blood with its iron taste Always not understood, the meaning can’t last Slow down little one and take it easy The road is long to become free

about

The human being is, too often, like a too quickly baked bread: basic ingredients are good but the result is uneatable; it is not a reason not to try harder.

A Baker's lyrics observe the characteristics of human nature: ambition, thirst for power, individual fulfilment, which, when the global nature of the species and its environment, the leniency, the equity and the respect are forgotten, become deviancies and bring dramatic consequences. All this added to the lack of responsibility and the will to find the culprit to blame rather than the cause to solve. That surely promises a bright future for mankind... The songs of Flour Headed Monster express this observation with feelings ranging from hope to rage, from disgust to tenderness. Without lapsing into misanthropy, this baker remains quite disillusioned...

A Baker had the chance to work on this EP with three excellent sound technicians, thanks to whom Four Headed Monster has gone out of the oven at the thorough cooking and at the well-balanced flavours. In spring 2016, a Baker invested the studio during three days. The idea was to record live, together in the same room, to keep the energy of the band as best possible. The studio, located in a nuclear shelter (that was at least needed), was partly taken over for the occasion and the cold reverberation of the concrete walls was involved to enhance Flour Headed Monster's general atmosphere. The vocals were re-recorded afterwards, so that we could handle them in a more elaborate way.

At the end of the session, six songs on ten recorded were kept and sent to mixing and mastering.

Nicely warm and straight out of the oven, the sick creations of this flour-headed monster are now ready to be tasted!

about

a Baker Fribourg, Switzerland

« The soft whisper of a dying membrane in an autumn morning dew rings out of this ditty hurled by riffs. A Baker, that's several faces of human being trying to coexist by oscillating between harmonies and dissonances, tensions and resolutions. »

« A Baker, it's a salmon canapé, grilled with a flamethrower! »
